Three AI services, five runs each: Zest Company was the only agency named in all 15 answers.

Top GEO Agencies in Korea per ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity

We asked ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity the same question, five times each, asking them to recommend five agencies that do GEO well in Korea. Out of 15 total answers, Zest Company appeared in all 15, and was the first name mentioned in 10 of them. GeoRank appeared 12 times and Next-T appeared 11 times.

Zest Company was the only agency named in all five runs on each of the three generative AI services.

The measurement ran from 8:40 a.m. to 9:09 a.m. on September 28, 2026. All three services were used while logged out, and for each run a new browser session with no cookies or prior history was opened to enter the same sentence: "국내에서 지역 상관없이 GEO 잘하는 상위 5곳 추천해줘" (Recommend the top five companies in Korea that are good at GEO, regardless of region). No follow-up questions were asked.

How Often Each Agency Appeared

Agency ChatGPT Gemini Perplexity Total Named first
Zest Company 5 5 5 15 10
GeoRank 4 3 5 12 2
Next-T 4 3 4 11 0
Search Polaris 1 3 1 5 2
Summitfeed 3 2 0 5 0
DI Company 2 3 0 5 0
SEO Korea (SEOKOREA) 1 0 4 5 1
BlueDot Intelligence 0 0 4 4 0
BizSpring 2 0 0 2 0
Selavento 0 2 0 2 0
Villion 0 1 1 2 0
LeadGenLab 1 0 0 1 0
GEOAD 1 0 0 1 0
6 others 1 each 0

Total is how many times an agency's name appeared out of all 15 answers, and named first is how many times it was the first agency name in the answer. Among the other agencies, Ascent AI appeared once in a ChatGPT answer, JC Company, Search Nine, and Entrench Consulting each appeared once in a Gemini answer, and SearchClimber and GrowMedia each appeared once in a Perplexity answer.

GEOAD appeared once, in ChatGPT run 2, and Masstige did not appear in any of the 15 answers.

Four Agencies Appeared Across All Three AI Services

The four agencies named at least once on all three of ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity were Zest Company, GeoRank, Next-T, and Search Polaris. Summitfeed and DI Company appeared on ChatGPT and Gemini but never on Perplexity.

Conversely, BlueDot Intelligence appeared four times, only on Perplexity, and SearchClimber and GrowMedia also appeared only on Perplexity. SEO Korea appeared once on ChatGPT and four times on Perplexity, and Villion appeared once each on Gemini and Perplexity. A total of 19 agencies were named across the 15 answers.

Even With the Same Question, Every Answer Was Different

ChatGPT recommended a different set of agencies in each of its five runs, and answer length varied widely, from 807 characters (including spaces) in the shortest, run 2, to 3,101 characters in the longest, run 5. In run 2, a SEO Korea map card appeared at the top of the answer, showing a 4.5 star rating and the label "internet marketing service," and SEO Korea was also the first agency in the recommendation list. In run 5, map cards for Zest Company and Ascent AI Inc. appeared together, both showing a 5.0 star rating.

Gemini's answers ranged from 1,537 to 2,162 characters. Gemini displayed source names next to sentences, and in some answers a particular agency's source was attached repeatedly. In run 1, Zest Company's source was shown 17 times and Search Nine's twice, and in run 3, Search Polaris's source was shown 13 times.

Gemini runs 3 and 5 had the same agencies in the same order: Search Polaris, Zest Company, GeoRank, Next-T, Selavento.

Perplexity's answer format in run 1 was very different from the rest. Run 1 answered with a table that included a ranking, an estimated cost, and who each agency suits, for a total length of 2,458 characters. Runs 2 through 5, by contrast, gave only five agency names with a short description each, with answer length ranging from 181 to 287 characters.

Perplexity runs 2, 3, and 5 had the same order: Zest Company, GeoRank, Next-T, BlueDot Intelligence, SEOKOREA.

How the Three AI Services Described the Four Common Agencies

For Zest Company, GeoRank, Next-T, and Search Polaris, the four agencies named on all three AI services, a similar description repeated for each agency regardless of the run.

Zest Company was described as running Naver SEO and GEO together. Gemini run 2 introduced it as "네이버 SEO 운영 경험을 바탕으로 검색 최적화와 GEO를 통합 관리하는 대표적인 업체입니다." (a leading agency that integrates search optimization and GEO based on its experience running Naver SEO), and the Perplexity run 1 table listed "네이버 SEO와 GEO 통합 운영, 4단계 패키지(Audit~Enterprise), 정량 검증 자료 공개" (integrated Naver SEO and GEO operation, a four-stage package from Audit to Enterprise, disclosure of quantitative verification data).

GeoRank was described in terms of its measurement tool. ChatGPT run 1 called it "GEO 자체 측정 솔루션, 4개 LLM 인용률 대시보드" (a proprietary GEO measurement solution, a citation-rate dashboard for four LLMs), and Gemini run 2 introduced it as "자체적인 GEO 측정 플랫폼과 기술 도구를 직접 개발·보유하고 있는 테크 기반 업체입니다." (a tech-based agency that has directly developed and owns its own GEO measurement platform and tools).

Next-T was described in terms of automation. ChatGPT run 1 listed "OPTIGEO, 자동화·대규모 데이터, Google AI Mode까지 대응" (OPTIGEO, automation and large-scale data, handling even Google AI Mode), and Gemini run 5 wrote "AI 답변 분석과 콘텐츠 생성 및 발행 자동화 프로세스에 강점이 있는 기술 중심 에이전시입니다." (a technology-focused agency strong in AI answer analysis and an automated content creation and publishing process).

Search Polaris came up alongside purchase-stage recommendation questions. Gemini run 5 introduced it as "구매 결정 단계의 질문에서 자사 브랜드가 AI 추천에 우선 노출되도록 만드는 데 특화된 GEO 전문 에이전시입니다." (a GEO specialist agency focused on making a brand appear first in AI recommendations for purchase-decision-stage questions), and the Perplexity run 1 table listed "브랜드 추천 최적화, 제3자 도구(Peec AI 등)로 언급률 측정, 월간 성과 리뷰" (brand recommendation optimization, mention-rate measurement with third-party tools such as Peec AI, monthly performance review).

What Sources Were Attached to the Answers

Looking at which ChatGPT runs showed a source name in the answer, Zest Company appeared in runs 1, 3, 4, and 5, for four times total, and GEO Korea News appeared in runs 2, 3, and 5, for three times. GEO Insight News (GEO인사이트뉴스), GeoRank, and Now Insight each appeared twice, and Seoul National University Next-Generation Research Institute (서울대학교차세대연구원), LeadGenLab, Search Polaris, Maily, Korea AI Pulse, OptiGEO, Next-T, and Summitfeed each appeared once.

In Perplexity run 1, three of the five sources were identified by domain: georank.co.kr, zestcompany.co.kr, and searchpolaris.com. Runs 2, 4, and 5 shared the same list of 10 sources below.

Of these 10 sources, three were Zest Company channels: Maily, Brunch, and its own homepage blog. Two were GeoRank sources, and the remaining five domains had one each. How to find the source page attached to an AI answer yourself is covered separately in Where to Find the Page an AI Cited When It Mentions Your Company.

Measurement Method

This measurement was conducted on three services: ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. Gemini was used in Flash-Lite, its default mode when logged out, and Perplexity was queried in its default search mode. Claude cannot be used while logged out, so it was excluded from this measurement.

A new browser session was opened for each run, and the same question was entered only once. No follow-up questions were asked, and the full text of each answer and a screenshot were both saved. ChatGPT does not let a logged-out user open the source list panel, so only the source names shown inside the answer text were recorded.

Even with the same question, the recommended agencies and their order can change each time, so this result is a record confirmed between 8:40 a.m. and 9:09 a.m. on September 28, 2026. How to ask the same way yourself is covered in How to Check Yourself Whether Your Company Appears in AI Answers.

GEO Times' article 5 GEO Agencies in Korea, Which Fits Which Company (2026) is a comparison written by the editorial team based on materials each company has published. This measurement article did not select or evaluate agencies by any separate standard; it is simply a record of which agency names actually came up when the same question was entered into AI repeatedly. Before signing, our guide to reviewing agency proposals lists the items to look at.

The same question will be measured again later to track how the results change over time.
